Twenty Candidates Compete in Miss Texas A&M University-Kingsville 2010

Twenty students at Texas A&M University-Kingsville will take the stage at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, April 24, as they vie to become Miss TAMUK 2010. The pageant will be held at 7:30 p.m. in Jones Auditorium. This year’s theme is Springtime in Paris.
The winner of the pageant, in addition to reigning as Miss TAMUK for a year, receives a $2,000 scholarship. The first runner-up receives a $1,500 scholarship and the second runner-up receives a $750 scholarship.
Katherine Lopez, a sophomore mechanical engineering major from Corpus Christi;
Victoria Martinez, a junior architectural engineering major from Moore;
Selina Ramos, a sophomore political science major from Victoria;
Bianca C. Serna, a freshman pre-pharmacy major from Corpus Christi;
Sarah Evans, a freshman interdisciplinary studies major form Chesapeake, Virginia;
Marissa Johansen, a freshman mechanical engineering major form Boerne;
Blanca Fleishmaan, a junior music education major from Mercedes;
Cynthia Prado, a freshman business finance major from Rosenberg;
Nicole Villarreal, a freshman communications major from Harlingen;
Aidee Avalos, a junior Spanish major from La Ward;
Anastasia Offordile, a junior biomedical science major from Houston;
Jessica Korac, a junior chemical engineering major from Kenedy;
Leanna Guerra, a junior human development and family studies major from San Juan;
Lourdes Huerta, a senior sociology major from Corpus Christi;
Terri Lynn Johnston, a senior civil engineering major from Hondo;
Andrea Palacios, a freshman early childhood education major from Corpus Christi;
Erin Ash, a sophomore architectural engineering major from Shenandoah;
Teresa “Tess” Adkins, a sophomore English major from George West;
Kassandra Canales, a sophomore communication sciences and disorders major from Santa Rosa; and Morgan Gant, a sophomore international business management major from Kingsville.
