Tom Spencer, Dean and Professor of History                 Dr. Thomas Spencer

Tom Spencer received his Ph.D. in U.S. History from Indiana University-Bloomington in 1996.  He has had a 20 year career as a professor and administrator at three different institutions.  He has published books and articles in American history, particularly on vigilantism and conflict between different social and religious groups on the American frontier in the nineteenth century.  He came to to Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2017.

Sue Nichols, Assistant to the Dean                                   Sue Nichols

Sue has a MBA in International Trade from Texas A&M International University.  She started working at TAMUK’s Honors College in November 2010.

She is originally from Northern Michigan, has traveled a lot, and has lived (twice) in Germany.

Sue is an Army veteran, an international conference planner, editor, and has worked in Higher Education for over 28 years.

Maggie Abrigo, Administrative Assistant to the Dean     Maggie Abrigo

Maggie, a native of Kingsville, joined the Honors College in October 2015.  She now lives in Ricardo with her family.  She is a welcome addition to the Honors College.
