What's the PASS Word?  fireline.gif (2692 bytes)

Fire extinguishers are the first line on defense in case of a fire.  A quick and proper response to a small fire could mean the difference between slight or major property damage -- and even life or death.
After - and ONLY after - you have been trained in the proper use of a fire extinguisher AND you have selected the correct extinguisher for the class of fire, you can follow the NFPA's four-step PASS procedure to attempt to extinguish the fire.
