About Lloyd DeVries

DeVries is a veteran of the United States Navy and a graduate of Calvin College in Michigan. He has a master’s in business administration from Michigan State University.

In 1987, he started his own envelope manufacturing in Grand Rapids. He started by trying to buy an existing business, but when that fell through, he started his company from scratch. In 1998, he started the process of selling the business to several employees and is currently selling the building to the envelope owners.

Since 2000, he has volunteered at SCORE in Corpus Christi, working directly with clients in this area and counseling clients all over the country.
