The Office of International Studies and Programs at Texas A&M University-Kingsville will host their Third Annual Study Abroad Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 19, in the pavilion adjacent to the Memorial Student Union Building (MSUB). In case of inclement weather, the event will be moved inside the MSUB, to room 219ABC.

Those attending the fair may receive information on individual and faculty-led study abroad opportunities, as well as International Education Exchange Fund scholarships. Students and faculty who have participated in a program will be on hand to share their experiences.

Since beginning the Study Abroad Fair, the number of students choosing to spend some time studying in other countries has increased considerably. The number of students studying abroad nearly doubled from the 2011-12 school year, when only 68 students participated, to 134 in the 2012-13 academic year.

Activities include live music, free henna tattoos and threading, food and door prizes. For more information, call 361-593-3994.
