|August 15, 2013||Official MRI award to TAMUK announced|
|August & September 2013||Preliminary discussions with distributor and manufacturer of machine, about non-standard use of machine|
|September 24, 2013||Final account set up for purchase|
|October 2, 2013||Conference call with Engatech (Distributor) and Stratasys Headquarters representative on prospective uses of machine.|
Discussion with PI and Co-PIs on Stratasys' usage policies, and capabilities of the Connex System.
Set up non-binding memorandum of understanding with Stratasys to collaborate on research involving the CONNEX 3d printers, but to only use approved materials in the machine, and have Stratasys print any non-standard materials. Stratasys agree to help with electronics-related processes.
|October & November 2013||Obtained several quotes, revised machine size to correspond with proposal, discussed options for materials, revised options, got permission to include a generic $25K supplies section, without ordering lots of mateiral up front.|

TAMUK requisitions submitted and approved, sole source form submitted, but not approved.
|Dec 18, 2013 - Jan 7, 2014||TAMUK advertised for a machine similar to the CONNEX 500, Engatech and Stratasys awarded bid.|
|Jan 8 - 31, 2014||TAMUK & Stratasys process order|
|Feb 7- Mar 3, 2014||Finish site preparation document, change location to Dott 207B, because crate slightly too big to put in elevator, get electrical preparations and room ready.|
|March 26 - 28, April 1-3, 2014||Initial installation, training, and submission of print jobs, then replacement of failed power supply.|
|Apr 4- June 3, 2014||Printing of some multimaterial parts, some samples, failure of UPS system, replacement, additional failure of another power supply, replacement, failure of print jobs due to host and printer communication failure, now currently working.|
