As Chairman of the Texas A&M University-Kingsville Environmental Engineering Department, I would like to welcome you to our site and invite you to browse all of the information and contact us. We are especially proud of the achievements of our faculty, staff and students, which are evident on these pages. Our Ph.D. and M.S. Degree Programs have achieved wide recognition, and we think that you will find our research programs are at the forefront of environmental engineering technology. Our graduates have gone on to establish rewarding careers as consulting engineers, researchers, municipal leaders and academicians. The Department of Environmental Engineering at Texas A&M University-Kingsville is dedicated to providing high-quality undergraduate and graduate education for qualified candidates pursuing challenging and rewarding careers in environmental engineering disciplines.  Our mission is to prepare students for careers as practicing professional environmental engineers and provide them with the necessary academic fundamentals and skills essential for being successful in programs leading to advanced engineering degrees. Our goal is to provide a balance of fundamental theory and engineering practice emphasizing sustainability, which promotes creativity and makes our graduates competitive in a global workplace. The Department serves a variety of stakeholders in South Texas and the nation as an active resource for information, training, applied and fundamental research, and for technology transfer in environmental engineering professional practice.
