Scott Gines

D. Scott Gines became vice president for intercollegiate athletics and campus recreation in January 2013. He served as vice president for institutional advancement from July 2009 through December 2012. Prior to that role, he served as athletic director at Texas A&M University-Kingsville, a post he assumed in August 2007. Read more»

The Division of Intercollegiate Athletics and Campus Recreation is comprised of Javelina Athletics and the Department of Campus Recreation and Fitness. It includes the Student Recreation Center and intramural sports along with twelve intercollegiate teams that compete in NCAA Division II. Men’s sports include baseball, basketball, cross country, football and track and field. Women’s sports include basketball, cross country, track and field, golf, softball, tennis and volleyball.
