Conversational Chinese

Learning the Chinese language can be extremely beneficial considering that China is the most populous nation in the world, accounting for more than 1.2 billion people. About one fifth of the world’s population speaks Chinese, increasing the probability of having to use or needing a basic knowledge of the Chinese language. Not only can learning conversational Chinese be a personal joy, the knowledge can be professionally used since China is the second biggest economy in the world as well as the leading trading partners of the United States. The course will highlight the Mandarin form of the Chinese language.

In this course you will learn:

  • Modern Chinese phonetic transcripition system (Hanyu Pinyin). 
  • Basic grammar & essential Chinese, vocabulary phrases.
  • Basic daily live Conversations.
  • Introduction to some esssential Chinese character & basic Chinese writing methods


        Mondays & Wednesdays 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
