General Office Management Fall 2015

  • Management Overview
  • Customer Service
  • Fiscal Planning
  • Strategic Planning

This course will provide an overview of the skills and knowledge required to manage the day to day operations of various working environments. Specific areas covered include an overview of management levels, styles and responsibilities, external and internal customer service, fiscal and strategic planning and marketing, promotions and event planning. Once completed, the student will be prepared for any entry-level position in a professional setting.

Students who meet all requirements for the course with a C or better will receive a Certificate of Completion from the Center for Continuing Education and Texas A&M University-Kingsville for their records. If a student does not meet the requirements for the course as established by the instructor, they will not be eligible to receive the Certificate of Completion until they re-take the course or complete any outstanding assignments as approved to bring their grade to a passing level.
