A Message from the Associate Dean
Greetings from the office of the Associate Dean, College of Education and Human Performance!
The College offers you a wide variety of programs and opportunities ranging from early childhood education to exercise science, from counseling and guidance to kinesiology, from bilingual education to educational leadership, and several others. If you are interested in pursuing a degree and subsequent career in any of these areas, I encourage you to visit the individual department offices or websites. The College currently has over 700 undergraduate majors, more than 300 graduate students, and about 80 doctoral students. Our graduates have served their communities successfully all over the country in various professional capacities. You could be one of them too!
Faculty and staff at the College of Education and Human Performance are dedicated to student success through challenging, nurturing, and engaging interactions with students in and out of the classroom. Our faculty members have distinguished records in teaching, scholarly publications and presentations, as well as grant awards. The staff at the departments and the Center for Educator Preparation Services is knowledgeable and helpful in guiding candidates through the application/admission process, educator and professional service certification processes, academic advising, and alternative certification routes.
This is a good time to be a Javelina at the College of Education and Human Performance - join us in keeping our rich traditions, with an eye on the future!
