JavALAB ALEKS Algebra Competition

The Department of Mathematics sponsors its JavALab Algebra Competition open to all students enrolled in MATH 1314 each Fall and Spring semester.  The competition consists of a college algebra comprehensive assessment in the ALEKS program.  First, second and third place winners are determined by the top three highest scores and receives cash prizes of $250, $150, and $100 respectively.  All students can benefit in participating, as the earned score on the assessment replaces the final grade in the course, if it is higher than the final average.

We congratulate our current and past competition winners!
