Travel Information
Car Rental: Participants are encouraged to make arrangements to rent a car at the Corpus Christi
Airport as public transportation in South Texas is limited.
Airport Pickup: If you notify us before November 15th, we will make arrangements to pick you up.
Taxis are also available outside the baggage claim area, the fare to Kingsville being approximately
$100. Travel time is approximately 40 minutes.
Driving Directions to the Texas A&M Campus: The campus center is located at 700 University
Boulevard, Kingsville, Tx 78363. Please see the hotel pages for the specific addresses of the meeting hotels
and for maps.
From the Corpus Christi Airport: Turn left at the airport exit and take TX-44 West ; after approximately
9 miles turn left onto to US-77 South. There are three Kingsville exits. To reach the university and take
the second exit , King Ave/Kenedy, and turn left at King Avenue. You will drive through town, crossing railroad
tracks, and will eventually reach University Avenue (to the right), which has a stone sign with the name of the
university. Turn right onto University Boulevard. You will reach the campus after a few blocks. Google Map
From I-37 Southbound: Exit onto US-77 South, in the direction Kingsville/Rio Grande Valley. Stay to the
left as you exit to remain on the freeway. You will reach Kingsville after approximately 27 miles. See
the directions from the Airport for the rest.
From I-59 Southbound: Take US-59 South towards Victoria. After passing Victoria continue onto US-77 S.
You will eventually enter I-37 S towards Corpus Christi. After one mile exit onto US-77 South. See the
directions from the Airport for the rest.
