THE ALIENS
By Annie Baker
Directed by Laurie Guajardo
Produced by Alpha Psi Omega Fraternity here at TAMUK
SEPTEMBER 28 - 29 @ 7:30 PM
SEPTEMBER 30 @ 2:30 PM
Associate entry into the Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival

The play takes place in a small town in Vermont. Two thirtyish men, Jasper and KJ, meet to discuss music and poetry in an alley behind a coffee shop. They discuss their band, which was called (among many things) The Aliens. KJ has dropped out of college and Jasper has not finished high school, but is writing a novel. When Evan, a high school student who works at the coffee shop arrives, the men "decide to teach him everything they know."

THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW - APO FUNDRAISER
OCTOBER 26 - 27 @ 7:30 PM
Any additional dates are TBA

Not the musical, but the Picture Show. This is an age old Rocky Horror Tradition going back to the late 70's and 80's, where the actors will be in costume performing on the stage in front of the Movie as it plays. This is how the Rocky Theatre experience happened before Richard O'Brien's Stage musical of The Rocky Horror Show came about. Come out, buy a prop bag and like all melodramas you get to throw things at the stage and talk back to the actors. So brush up on your Rocky and come out and support Alpha Psi Omega Drama Fraternity. For mature audiences only. No Children.

NOVEMBER 7 - 10, 2018 -- Tour to perform at the Kennedy Center American College State Festival at Panola College

We see them every day. We drive past them. We walk past them. We avoid looking at them. We throw money and turn away. These are the people who spend their days without a home. They focus on the next fix. They fly because they want to until they have to. They are real, some are here because they have to be, Their basic day to day needs and activities are the simple things we take for granted. Their tomorrow is not for sure. They know that. They laugh. They fight. They help each other. They are humans. They are June Bugs.
