Graduate Programs

The Dick and Mary Lewis Kleberg College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Human Sciences boasts the only graduate degree programs in South Texas. In fact, we offer the only master’s degree program in ranch management in the world. Students find many unique research opportunities at this level and can conduct studies through three well-known units: the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute, the King Ranch Institute for Ranch Management and our Citrus Center in Weslaco. Master’s degrees are offered in plant and soil science, agribusiness, agriculture science, animal science, range and wildlife management and human sciences. A doctor of philosophy is available in wildlife science and in horticulture.
