Mr. Alex Sanchez grew up in San Antonio, Tx and attended South San Antonio HS, playing baritone horn in the band.  He graduated in 1973 and attended Texas A&I University, Kingsville on a music scholarship and earned a Bachelor of Music in 1977.  Mr. Sanchez also received a Master of Science/Mid-Management in 1988 from Texas A&I University, Kingsville, Tx.   

He worked as a band director at South San HS for 40 years, and currently has his own consulting business, working with high school bands throughout the state of Texas.  He serves as Student Teacher Observing faculty at TAMUK.
