Zachary Nowak


Lecturer - Agriculture Mechanics and Agriculture Education

Mr. Zach Nowak, originally from Rosenberg, Texas. He received his bachelors of science in University studies Agricultural Leadership, with minors in Human Resources and Communications from Texas A&M University in 2012, followed by his Masters of Science in Agriculture from Sam Houston State University in 2015. He is currently finishing his Ph.D at Texas A&M University in Agricultural Leadership Education and Communications. He began his career in agricultural education, by serving as an agricultural science teacher from 2016 until 2023  at Malakoff and B.F. Terry High schools where he taught a variety of class but primarily focused on agricultural mechanics.

 His current research program focuses on the development of future agricultural science teachers and development as professionals and youth leaders.

 He has passion for working with students and helping them to develop into their full potential and achieve the career goals that they set forth for themselves. His wife Kelly is an elementary school teacher and they are blessed with two beautiful children Wyatt and Makenzie.
