Dr. Krueger Wins Best Research Award

Finance professor, Dr. Thomas Krueger (right), received the "Best Research" award at the Scholar Global Alliance's Mustang International Academic Conference that was held from October 24-26, in Dallas, Texas.  Presentations are made by business faculty in all CBA disciplines, in  a format wherein attendees hear about the research being conducted across business disciplines.  Krueger's  study, titled "Paying for Acceptance? A Study of Academic Management Journals," was chosen as the best among 60 papers invited to present at the conference.  Papers were presented by researchers across the globe (including Australia, Pakistan, Nigeria, and Norway), plus such renown universities as Connecticut, Florida State, and the New York Institute of Technology.  A portion of the report will be published in the refereed proceedings of the association.

This is the second time Dr. Krueger has won such an award. His first award was a "track award" within the Investments area.  This current award is for his research versus other research presented at the conference.  Both awards have been won during his brief time here at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Congratulations, Tom!
