What to Expect
Discovery — goals, history, schedule, preferences
We start with a quick intake to understand where you’re at and where you want to go.
Custom Plan — strength, cardio, mobility, or a mix
Your trainer builds a plan around your goals, equipment access, and time constraints.
Coaching & Feedback — technique cues and smart progressions
We refine movement patterns and progress intelligently so you keep improving safely.
Momentum — check-ins and program updates
We track your wins, adjust the plan, and keep you accountable.
Policies
- Open to students, faculty/staff, alumni, and community members with valid memberships.
- All sessions are provided by certified TAMUK Rec Sports trainers; private arrangements outside Rec Sports aren’t permitted.
- Registration, PAR-Q, informed consent, and liability waiver must be completed before your first session.
- Purchases are made in person at the Rec Sports Office or online at LINK
- Give 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule; late cancellations/no-shows forfeit the session.
- Trainers wait up to 15 minutes; sessions end at the scheduled time.
- Sessions expire 365 days from purchase. Student-rate sessions should be completed by the end of the semester unless otherwise approved.
- Refunds: within 5 business days of purchase (with receipt) and before your first session is scheduled.
- Medical refunds may be approved with documentation. Safety may require medical clearance.
