At TAMUK Rec Sports, fitness is personal, goal-driven, and accessible. Whether you’re starting fresh, breaking through a plateau, or bringing wellness to your group, our programs meet you where you are—and take you further.

Recreational Sports has teamed up with Health and Kinesiology to offer FREE fitness classes for students, faculty, staff and the community through a grant from Methodist Healthcare Ministries Community Exercise Outreach initiative.   Below is a Spring 2026 Free Fitness Class.

Fitness Outreach: Rent a Fitness Instructor

Bring Rec Sports to your department, organization, or event. Our certified instructors can design and lead custom fitness sessions—strength, cardio circuits, yoga, mobility, and more.
