Public Access to Course Information (HB 2504)

HB 2504, passed during the 2009 regular session of the 81st Texas Legislature, requires Texas A&M University-Kingsville to make course information available to the public on its website.

The following information is available to the public:

• A Course Syllabus that includes a brief description of each major course requirement or assignment, student learning outcomes, required or recommended textbooks and readings, and a general outline of the course schedule, including lecture or discussion topics and any assigned readings.
• A curriculum vitae for each instructor of record that includes a brief summary of the faculty member’s qualifications, education, all previous teaching positions, and a list of significant publications or scholarly work.
• A description of the departmental budget in support of course delivery.
