“I chose TAMUK because my sister and dad were already in attendance and had nothing but good things to say about the campus, the available resources, and the faculty and staff. Of course, that has now been my experience. I was inspired to pursue a degree in biomedical sciences because of a drive to help others. While I don't intend to become a physician, my hope is that my degree will aid me in future research endeavors studying natural compounds that may be helpful to humanity for a variety of reasons”
