Two-Step Wellness Program Participation

Completing two health activities in MyEvive will ensure that you have the lowest rate for your health insurance premiums.

Highlights of the Wellness Incentive:

  • Complete two activities from your Personalized Checklist between September 1 and June 30.
  • Applies to employees AND covered spouses enrolled in the A&M Care Plan.
  • A premium differential of $30 per month will be applied for each individual (you and your spouse) who completes two activities by the June 30th deadline.
  • Retirees will automatically receive the lower premium.
  • You can verify your completion status for the wellness premium incentive by logging into or registering for your MyEvive account at tamus.myevive.com.

If you choose not to participate in the wellness premium incentive program, you will not receive the $30 premium reduction. Contact MyEvive member services if you believe you have completed two activities, but the information is not reflected in your MyEvive account. (note: remember that it can take 6 to 8 weeks from the time of your wellness exam for the claim to process and the incentive to show on your MyEvive account)

Meet with a healthcare professional virtually

Virtual Visits is a  feature provided by MDLive through your Blue Cross and Blue Shield (BCBS) health plan. It is available to covered employees and retirees in the A&M Care Plans. You can schedule visits with doctors and therapists via telephone, online video or mobile app. This alternative to in-person appointments provides health care for simple, non-emergency medical and behavioral health conditions 24/7/365.

You can select your doctor from a large, national virtual visit network, or choose to meet with the first available physician. If you want to meet with the same doctor on your second virtual visit, you are able to select him or her from your MDLive dashboard for a follow-up appointment. When appropriate, prescriptions can be sent to your pharmacy of choice. Behavioral health consultations are available by appointment and video only.

Virtual Visits are included in the A&M Care plans with a $30 copay. All retirees including those with Medicare or in the 65 PLUS plan can use these services for the $30 charge. These services are not covered by Medicare and will be paid by BCBS without needing to be submitted to Medicare. You will be asked to pay upfront before you speak with the physician. To use MDLive, go to https://mdlive.com/bcbstx and activate your account. You can also download the MDLive app on your phone.
