Comprehensive Pay Plan

The Comprehensive Pay Plan is derived from the Texas A&M System–wide Pay Plan, which establishes job profiles and corresponding pay rates for positions utilized at Texas A&M University–Kingsville (TAMUK). Employee Services is responsible for the administration and application of the System-wide Pay Plan on the TAMUK campus, as well as for developing and communicating pay plans specific to students, graduate students, and adjunct faculty.

Staff Pay Plan

Texas A&M University–Kingsville has implemented three new faculty pay plans. Collectively, these plans establish a total of 45 distinct pay grades, with salary ranges reflecting spreads of 50 percent to 70 percent between the minimum and maximum of each range. The pay plans are structured using discipline-specific market differentials, and faculty members are assigned to pay grades based on their primary discipline. Additional details regarding the pay plan structure are provided below.
