Professor and Leroy G. Denman, Jr. Endowed Executive Director of Wildlife Research, Wildlife Biology

David G. Hewitt received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech. He was appointed to the faculty at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 1996 and currently holds the rank of Professor in the Department of Rangeland and Wildlife Sciences and the Leroy G. Denman, Jr. Endowed Executive Director of Wildlife Research in the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute. David teaches Wildlife Nutrition and Large Mammal Ecology and conducts research in white-tail deer ecology.
