Staff Council Nominations

Staff Council 2022 Elections


Do you know a hardworking, dedicated, responsible colleague that demonstrates strong leadership skills and is motivated to make a difference at our university? If so, we would like to encourage you to take the time to nominate them for a staff council position. Nominees will be elected to represent their constituencies according to their division/area of employment. 

Staff employees eligible for election this term can be found on our website. You can nominate any staff employee whose name is listed in any of the four divisions/areas.  

This year we will be electing members for the following divisions:

Academic Affairs – 3 vacancies 
Finance – 3 vacancies 
Institutional Advancement & External Relations – 1 vacancy 
Student Affairs – 1 vacancy 
 

 

Staff Council nominations will close on Wednesday, August 3rd at 5:00pm. Please submit your nominations by emailing the election committee at staffcouncilelections2022@students.tamuk.edu  

The nomination must include the first and last name of the staff member nominee and the department they are currently employed by 

The nominees will be contacted to verify their intent to run for the position.  

Electronic voting will open Monday, August 8th. All staff members will receive an electronic ballot via email.
