The committee will lead all fundraising initiatives for Staff Council. The committee will seek feedback from council members and will propose fundraising initiatives to the full council for consideration. The committee, in consultation with Executive Committee, will work to oversee logistics for any approved fundraisers to include day, time, location, budget, and volunteers.

The staff recognition committee will oversee activities that seek to recognize and support staff members. Committee will lead the process for Employee of the Year, Book Awards, and Parking Permit Awards. The committee will seek feedback from council members and propose new initiatives to recognize and support staff members to the full council for consideration.

The committee, led by the Member-at-Large, will oversee activities that seek to spread awareness of Staff Council initiatives, including but not limited to management of the webpage, social media pages, and or email distribution. The committee will work to keep open lines of communication with staff at satellite locations, including but not limited to the Citrus Center. The committee will also seek out opportunities for Staff Council, and TAMUK staff at large, to engage in community service, proposing initiatives to the full council for consideration.

The committee will lead all employee engagement activities for Staff Council. Activities organized by this committee should

• seek to engage staff socially,
• aim to improve employee morale,
• offer opportunities for employee engagement and/or growth

The committee will seek feedback from council members and will propose activities to the full council for consideration. The committee, in consultation with Executive Committee, will work to oversee logistics for any approved activities to include day, time, location, budget and volunteers.

The committee will oversee the annual Staff Council elections process. Committee will review, update and follow the established elections procedures. Members of the committee should not be seeking reelection to the council for the incoming year.
