Message from the SGA President

Hello! My name is Analiya Fleming, and I am honored to serve as the 2026–2027 Student Body President of Texas A&M University-Kingsville and the 101st Session of the Student Government Association. I am a senior double majoring in Agricultural Business with a concentration in Ranch Management and Animal Science with a concentration in Pre-Veterinary Medicine. After completing my undergraduate studies, I plan to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and continue my passion for agriculture, animal health, and serving others. My journey with the Student Government Association began during my freshman year as a Freshman Class Senator. Since then, I have had the opportunity to serve as the College of Agriculture Senator, Chair of the Spirit, Traditions & Campus Morale Committee, and Student Body Treasurer. Each of these experiences has allowed me to grow as a leader, connect with students across campus, and better understand the importance of listening to and advocating for our student body. I am incredibly excited to serve as Student Body President and to represent students across our campus. Through my initiative, “Branching Out for Every Student,” I hope to strengthen communication, expand mentorship and career opportunities, encourage student involvement, and create opportunities for every Javelina to feel connected and represented. I believe that some of the greatest changes on a university campus begin with students who are willing to speak up, get involved, and work together. As we begin the 101st Session, I look forward to collaborating with students, faculty, staff, and university administration to continue building a stronger TAMUK while honoring the traditions that have shaped our university. I encourage every student to make their voice heard, get involved, and take advantage of the opportunities available to them. Your experience at TAMUK is yours to shape, and the Student Government Association is here to listen, advocate, and serve. Once a Javelina, always a Javelina. J’s Up! Analiya Fleming, President
