The Pre-Award Division of the Office of Research and Innovation (ORI) serves as a catalyst for research growth and innovation at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. As a strategic partner to faculty, researchers, and program directors, the division develops institutional research capacity by supporting the pursuit of external funding and the submission of competitive, compliant proposals to government, foundation, and industry sponsors. The division oversees the review, negotiation, and acceptance of sponsored agreements while fostering interdisciplinary collaboration, expanding research opportunities for researcher, and strengthening partnerships that address the needs of South Texas and beyond. Through these efforts, the Pre-Award Division advances TAMUK's research enterprise, supports academic excellence and student success, and helps position the university for increased national recognition and research distinction.
