The Office of Institutional Research and Assessment (OIRA) supports the mission of Texas A&M University-Kingsville by working collaboratively with all academic and non-academic units to ensure data-driven decision making and continuous quality improvement.

OIRA assists and coordinates systematic, research based strategic planning and reporting through data collection, analysis, development and dissemination of accurate and timely reports and analysis. In addition, OIRA provides support and expertise in the development, implementation, collection and evaluation of assessment activities throughout the university, including student learning outcomes. OIRA is also responsible for ensuring the timely submission and accuracy of reports to external agencies.
