Dual Enrollment Director

Miranda Joiner began her career in higher education back in 2006 where she served as an Academic Advisor for the College of Arts & Sciences and was later promoted to Senior Academic Advisor II in 2008.  During her time with Arts & Sciences, she assumed the role of Hoggie Days Coordinator, overseeing new student orientation for the College and advising students majoring in Criminology, Psychology, and Sociology.  In 2012, she transitioned to the dual enrollment program as its designated academic advisor, subsequently progressing to Coordinator in 2014 and Director in 2023.  Throughout her career, she has collaborated with over 34 districts to facilitate college dual credit courses to high school students. She holds a B.S. in Human Sciences from Texas A&M University-Kingsville, graduating cum laude in 2005.  Joiner is a Kingsville native and a graduate of H. M. King High School.
