Admissions FAQ
Admitted Students
Both domestic and international First Time in College Freshmen and new transfer students are required to attend our new student orientation programs. New Student Orientation is a fun and informative way to get to know Javelina Nation. At these programs, students register for classes and meet other incoming students.
Freshmen who have completed dual credit courses while in high school are still required to attend the freshman orientation even if they have completed 12 or more hours if they were done prior to high school graduation.
Transfer orientation is required for new transfer students. Students who have 12 or more college hours after high school graduation should register for transfer orientation.
International students may have to attend additional orientations before arriving on campus. Please view our orientation website for more information.
