Quality Matters Training and Certification


As part of our grant activities, we will promote QM training and certification at TAMUK

What is QM?
The Quality Matters (QM) Program is a faculty-centered, peer review process that is designed to certify the quality of online and blended courses.  QM is a leader in quality assurance for online education and has received national recognition for its peer-based approach and continuous improvement in online education and student learning.

What Resources/Funding and Support are available through the MSEIP-REAL Grant? 
We have different resources/funding and support available for TAMUK faculty members to improve online teaching and learning experience. Please check this document.

According to this memo sent out by TAMUK Provost's Office, TAMUK faculty and instructors need to meet certain requirements before teaching any online/hybrid/web-substituted courses starting from Spring 2024.

QM Training is one of the acceptable training for TAMUK Faculty Members to be qualified to teach online/hybrid courses at TAMUK or become QM-certified Instructors
