Texas A&M University-Kingsville has enhanced security and support for the university community by launching SafeZone, a unified safety, communications, and wellbeing service.

To activate SafeZone:

1. Download the free SafeZone app:
   • Apple App Store
   • Google Play
2. Register using your TAMUK email:
   • Faculty/Staff: UserID@tamuk.edu (example: kuabc123@tamuk.edu) and your Blue & Gold password.
   • Students: Your TAMUK student email (example: first.lastname@students.tamuk.edu) and the password you use to log in to Blue & Gold.
3. Sign in with Microsoft 365 when prompted.
4. Complete your profile by adding your cell phone number and photo and accepting the Terms of Service.
5. Allow app permissions for:
   • Bluetooth
   • Notifications
   • Location Services
