NCAA Football Attendance Figures are Tops for DII
KINGSVILLE, TEXAS – The NCAA recently released its annual college football attendance figures and Texas A&M-Kingsville performed very well.
The Javelinas finished first in NCAA Division II in total attendance and average attendance.  The Javelinas played in front of 71,933 fans at home this year for an average of 11,989 per game.  The Javelina average would have ranked them 25th among NCAA Division I Football Championship series schools.  Only one Texas NCAA Division I FCS school averaged more fans per game than the Javelinas.
The average NCAA Division I FCS attendance for the season was 8,702 while the average NCAA Division II attendance was 3,589.
