Pepsi Field at Javelina Stadium to reopen January 14

KINGSVILLE, Texas – Pepsi Field at Javelina Stadium recently underwent a resurfacing of the track around the field in preparation for the 2019 NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships later in May. As a result, the stadium was closed to the public for the last month in order to facilitate the resurfacing process.
 
As of January 14, 2019, the stadium will be reopened to the public. Please note the following rules pertaining to Pepsi Field at Javelina Stadium:
  1. Stadium is open at 5:30 a.m. and is closed at dusk
  2. No pets allowed
  3. No bicycles, skateboards or motorized vehicles of any kind
  4. Walkers use lanes 5-8
  5. Facility is closed from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. for team practice
  6. No use of game field without authorization
  7. No track use during football games/stadium events
  8. Children under the age of 13 must be accompanied by an adult
  9. No food, gum or sunflower seeds allowed on the surface of the facility
