Astronomy Public Viewing

The public is invited to the third Texas A&M University-Kingsville public astronomy viewing of the fall semester beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, November 7 in the Hill Hall Observatory 

The free viewing is sponsored by the Department of Physics & Geosciences and will feature the moon, Neptune and Formalhaut—one of the brightest stars in the sky 

The observatory is located on the third floor of Hill Hall, located east of the Memorial Student Union Building. Parking is available in the lot next to Jones Auditorium and Manning Hall, on the corner of Santa Gertrudis and Armstrong, and along Santa Gertrudis. 

In the event of poor viewing conditions or inclement weather, there will be a video screened downstairs in Hill Hall. For more information, contact Charles Allison at 361-593-2622 or at charles.allison@tamuk.edu.
