Marcy’s doctoral studies were in rhetoric and composition, and she has taught courses in basic writing, first-year composition, advanced composition, technical communication, business communication, and composition theory (undergraduate and graduate), and while at the University of Louisville, she served as an Assistant Director of Composition.
Her work centers on intersections of class and feminist theories. She is currently undergoing extensive obedience training by Moose (her Maltese) and Bubba (her Yorkie), and she is admittedly a work-in-progress.
