Welcome to the Department of Clinical Health Sciences!

The Department of Clinical Health Sciences was formed by the merger of the Communication Sciences and Disorders Program and the Social Work Program in the Fall of 2013. The department now has approximately 681 undergraduate and 50 graduate students, with offices and laboratories located in Manning Hall on the Texas A&M University-Kingsville campus.

The Communication Sciences and Disorders Program

The Communication Sciences and Disorders Program offers both a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree and a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in speech-language pathology. You can visit the Communication Sciences and Disorders Program homepage here.

The Social Work Program
