Color: silver

Seaborg, James, and Ghiorso identified Curium in 1944. Very small amounts  of curium probably exists in natural deposits of of uranium; however, the presence of Curium in nature has never been detected.  If Curium is absorbed into the body, it completely destroys the mechanism that creates red blood cells.
