Outstanding Unpaid Tickets

Faculty, Staff and Students:

Parking Permits can be purchased by following the Parking Spot link thru JNET - Campus Resources tab. If not mailed, permits may be picked up at the Business Office in College Hall Rm 104, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 5:00 p.m.

If you have any unpaid citations, you may pay at the Business Office, Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. through 4:00 p.m. Citations may also be paid online by following the Parking Spot link thru JNET - Campus Resources tab.

Individuals with three (3) or more outstanding citations may have their vehicles immobilized and/or towed for non-payment of outstanding parking fines. Persons receiving financial assistance, scholarships, or travel expenses may have their funds withheld pending payment of any outstanding parking citations, check with the Business Office.

You may not purchase a new permit if you have any outstanding citations. All outstanding tickets must be paid in full before receiving a new permit.

Visitor Permits

The visitor parking lot (Lot M) located on Santa Gertrudis Street between Cousins and Poteet Hall is metered parking only. Parking will be $5 a day. The meter is a card swipe only machine.

Parking regulation will be enforced from 8 a.m.- 5 p.m. Monday through Friday. There will be no grace period set aside for parking illegally in this lot.

In addition, there will be no access to the lot from Richard Avenue. Entrance to and exit from Lot M will be on Santa Gertrudis Street only.

Purchase Visitor Permit


Visitors coming to campus as part of a conference or event that takes place during normal working hours (Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.) will be required to have a visitor permit. These will be issued through the Business Office located at College Hall and will be included in conference or event costs. The fee is $5 per vehicle per day.

Anyone wishing to park on campus who does not have a parking permit and is not part of a conference or event should use the visitor’s parking lot on Santa Gertrudis Street between Cousins and Poteet Hall. The parking lot will be metered Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. During these hours visitors will be charged $1 per hour or $5 per day at the meter. The solar-powered meter will issue a receipt that should be displayed in the vehicle windshield.

Visitor permits will not be needed for conferences or events that occur outside the regular business day.
