External Scholarships


 

 Consist of privately funded scholarships that are sponsored by private donors, professional organizations, foundations, and many other sources outside of Texas A&M University-Kingsville. These scholarships are not directly affiliated with Texas A&M University-Kingsville. When researching and applying for external scholarships, please be aware of potential scams. You should never have to pay to apply for scholarships.

Scholarship recipients are selected by the external granting agency and funds are distributed to the student by the university, once the funds are received from the awarding entity.

How do I apply?

  • Students are encouraged to visit Javelina Scholarships, to be matched to available external scholarships.

When do I apply?

  • Refer to scholarship details. Deadline set by each outside organization/agency.

Granting Agency:

External funds are processed through the TAMUK Business Office and routed to the Office of Financial Aid to be posted to the students account. Granting agencies are recommended to complete the External Scholarship Form when sending scholarship award(s) to students at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. 

If you are receiving an external scholarship, please notify Scholarships & Financial Aid as soon as possible.  Scholarship checks can be mailed or delivered to the address below.

External Donors: To have your scholarship posted in Javelina Scholarships, please submit the scholarship information here to the Scholarship Research Office at CampusLogic.
