BS/MS Fast-Track Program
Thinking about graduate school?
The fast-track program allows high achieving and motivated undergraduate students to include graduate level engineering courses in their undergraduate degree plans, and get admitted automatically to graduate programs in the College of Engineering.
Our fast-track program enables undergraduate environmental engineering students, to step up their education to obtain both BS and MS degrees in approximately five years of full-time studies. Students can take up to 3 graduate courses (9 graduate semester credit hours) that may be used to complete the bachelor’s degree, and also satisfy requirements for the master’s degree.
Application Requirements
An undergraduate environmental engineering student qualifies to apply for the Fast-Track program if the student meets the following:
- Has senior status and is in the final year in which the student is completing all undergraduate requirements for graduation to receive a bachelor’s degree.
- Has a minimum overall TAMUK GPA of 2.6.
- Has a preferred minimum TAMUK GPA of 2.75 for all engineering major courses.
Meet with the department chair of the environmental engineering program for more information, and to apply for the BS/MS Fast-Track Program.
