Tropical Storm Hermine Update
The Texas A&M-Kingsville main campus is closed today, Tuesday, Sept. 7. Due to worsening weather, President Steven Tallant has decided to close the campus for the day. The eye of Tropical Storm Hermine is expected to reach Kleberg County in the next two to three hours making traveling conditions unsafe. Rainfall of four to eight inches is projected. The campus expects to reopen tomorrow. Limited security personnel and food service will be provided today.
Student Tickets Available for mtvU Campus Invasion
Student tickets are now available for the Wednesday, Sept. 29, mtvU Campus Invasion Music Festival featuring Thirty Seconds to Mars. Students must bring their identification cards to the Student Activities office on the third floor of the Memorial Student Union Building to receive a ticket. The evening of the concert, students must bring their student identification card, ticket and two non perishable food items to the concert admission gate.
