Welcome to Javelina Nation

Texas A&M University-Kingsville

Congratulations on your acceptance to

Texas A&M University-Kingsville!

Now that you’re a part of Javelina Nation, here are the next steps on your path to joining us on campus. Be sure to check your student email address for future communications!

Step 1: Join JNET.

JNET will be your link to the TAMUK community. You will use this portal to register for Hoggie Days, apply for and accept Javelina Scholarships, accept your Financial Aid, register for classes, apply for on-campus housing, pay your tuition and fees, and complete other enrollment tasks.

Use your Student ID (for example, KUABC123) and create a password to join JNET. If you don't know your Student ID, please contact the Javelina Enrollment Services Center at 361-593-JESC (5372) or email us at jesc@tamuk.edu.

Step 2: Don't forget to submit the following:

  • Final, official high school and college transcripts. Upon graduation from high school, you must request that a final high school transcript showing graduation date and rank in the class be sent to the Office of Admission. Mail the official transcript directly to the Office of Admission, Texas A&M University-Kingsville, MSC 128, Kingsville, TX 78363.
  • Texas Success Initiatives Scores and/or Exemptions. As an incoming student, you must satisfy the Texas Success Initiative (TSI) requirements unless you qualify for an exemption or waiver. Please visit  https://www.tamuk.edu/tsi/ for more information.
  • AP/CLEP/IBO Scores.
  • Proof of a Bacterial Meningitis Vaccine. All new students are required to obtain and submit proof of bacterial meningitis vaccination or exemption 10 days prior to the first day of classes through the online portal Med+Proctor. If your vaccination has expired or we do not have your vaccination in our records, please expect to receive an invitation email from Med+Proctor to submit your bacterial meningitis record. Med+Proctor is a healthcare technology company that manages the immunization verification process and is an immunization compliance software for universities/colleges. Visit the TAMUK Bacterial Meningitis Vaccination Requirement webpage to learn about the submission process with Med+Proctor.
