$10K Online Master's Program Criteria

  • Qualify for in-state tuition through Texas residency or an in-state tuition waiver.
  • Enroll in at least 6 credit hours per semester/term.
  • Be Enrolled into one of the (5) approved Online Master’s Programs below:
    • Master of Business Administration (MBA)
    • M.S. in Educational Administration
    • M.S. in Industrial Management
    • M.S. in Civil Engineering
    • M.S. in Industrial Engineering
  • Complete the approved program within 24 months. This timeline includes four long semesters (Fall/Spring) and two summer sessions.
  • Maintained Financial Aid Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).

What does the $10K graduate degree cover?
The program covers tuition and all mandatory fees for 10 courses (30 credit hours).
What is not covered?
Prerequisite and leveling courses not included in your specific degree plan are not covered. Additionally, repeated courses are not excluded.
Can I use aid to pay for the $10k master's program?
Yes. These programs are eligible for federal financial aid. Eligible students may apply by completing the FAFSA.
Are there additional scholarships available?
Javelina alumni enrolled in at least nine graduate hours are eligible for a $1K scholarship. This is awarded during the recipient’s first year at $500 per each long semester (Fall and Spring). For other scholarship opportunities, please visit the Scholarships webpage.
Is there a time limit for this program?
Yes, students must maintain satisfactory academic progress and complete the program within 24 months.
