Office 365 provides secure file sharing using either email encryption or OneDrive.  Encryption is available in Outlook on the Web and in Outlook 2019.  If you have Outlook 2016, you will need to either upgrade to Outlook 2019 or use the web version to send encrypted emails.  Please read the Instructions for Email Encryption.  Access to Outlook on the Web.

Banner is an integrated software system with applications in student information, Financial Aid services and Accounts Receivable.  The system is Oracle-based and is compatible with Internet Explorer, Chrome, or Firefox. You can access Banner through the Employee Quick Links channel on the JNet Employee tab or directly at the Banner website.

Requesting access, changing access, and deleting access to Banner will require a signed form. The forms can be found in the Forms channel on the JNet Project Management, Standards, and Forms tab under Tech Help.

Banner Workflow is a solution that unites processes, information, and communication, for departments. If you need any assistance with Banner Workflow, please submit a Help Desk support ticket by going to JNet Tech Help.

For students, the Blue & Gold Connection is your one-stop shop for, class registration, checking your grades or paying your university bills online.

For faculty members or advisors, the Blue & Gold Connection, is your portal to class rosters, registration permits and electronic grade submission among other things. You can access the Blue & Gold Connection through the Campus Quick Links channel on the JNET Campus Resources tab or directly at Blue and Gold.

Banner Document Management (BDM) allows end users to store documents digitally and tie them directly to Banner data so they can be easily retrieved.

Access to add or view documents is restricted based on need, and must be approved by supervisors.

JCAL also known as Ad Astra Schedule, is a web-based scheduling solution to reserve classroom and public spaces for meetings, events and classes. To reserve a room, you can login to JCal through the Employee Quick Links channel on the JNET Employee tab or directly at JCal Event Scheduling.

JNet Mobile allows you to access many iTech services on the go, providing a complete mobile solution with native integration to JNet and Blue and Gold Connection that creates a truly digital campus. JNet Mobile is available for both Android and iOS devices.

ServiceNow or SNOW, is a self-service portal that allows TAMUK users to submit and check the status of an iTech ticket.  You can access Service Now through the iTech Support Services channel on the JNET iTech Help tab or directly at SNOW.
