The Intensive English Programs that are within the English Language Training Center (ELTC) are designed for students, business people, and professionals to develop English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, grammar and writing. The Program provides intensive oral and written communicative instruction and practices to facilitate a smooth transition into university academic programs at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. The University and community environment provide students with excellent opportunities to practice English language skills and to engage in multi-cultural experiences.

• To train International students in oral and written English to a level sufficient to enter a university degree program and to exit the same program successfully.
• To immerse International students in an English-speaking environment that will provide them a full enriched study-abroad program.
• To focus on the needs and goals of each student in professional and conversational English.

English for Academic Purpose (EAP) Program

The English for Academics Program is designed for students to develop English proficiency in listening, speaking, reading, grammar and writing. The program provides international students with the highest quality English instruction so that the students can enter and successfully complete an undergraduate or graduate program in any English-speaking institution. Housed on the campus of historic Texas A & M University-Kingsville, we are able to offer our students the opportunity to immerse themselves in both an academic and English-speaking environment.
