Dr. Kim is an Assistant Professor of Criminal Justice. He is originally from Seoul, South Korea. Before he came to the U.S.A. for his doctoral study, he had served as a police officer in South Korea. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Law, a Master’s in Environmental Policy, and a Doctorate in Criminal Justice. His research interest areas include Community Policing, Juvenile Justice, Restorative Justice and the Effects of Environmental Stewardship on Crime Reduction.
