Campus Recreation and Fitness
|Welcome to the Department of Student Recreation and Fitness Center! Our department is located in the new state-of-the-art Student Recreation Center. The SRC welcomes all members with a validated Texas A&M University-Kingsville ID or a Campus Recreation and Fitness membership card. Guests may pay the $5 guest fee and must be accompanied by a current member.|
|The SRC is comprised of a 36,000 square foot facility with two mulit-puropose gymnasiums, cardio/weight room, 1/12 elevated indoor track. We offer a variety of progams to Students, Faculty & Staff ranging from IOpen Recreation, Cheerleading, Group Excercise, Personal Training & Intramural Sports|
Registration Fees are as follows:
General Public: $25 per person,
TAMUK Community: $20 per person,
Family (4+): $15 per Family Member.
Are you looking for an exciting adventure? Look no further than our annual 5K Run/Walk. This year we will be having a Comic Book Themed Costume Run. With this year having a lot movies and TV shows stemming from comic books like the Walking Dead, Superman, Batman, and many more, we wanted to join in on the Adventure. Throughout the race, we will have obstacles for you to overcome if you may choose as well finishing with a big slide. Come out supporting your favorite Comic Book Character for a great adventure.
Registration Packet Pick Up will be at the Studetn Recreation and Fitness Center located at 1020 West Avenue C, Kingsville TX:
Thursday April 28th: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Friday April 29th: 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Saturday April 30th: 8:00 a.m. - 9:45 a.m. (Start Finish Line, see race route)
Entertainment will be provided by Somethin' Silky and we will be giving out over $1,000 in prizes! Registration is only a few clicks away. Just click here and you will be all set.
